Lands’ End

Frontend Development

Project Overview

Lands’ End invited seven fashion and lifestyle bloggers to share “looks” created from their favorite current catalog items. I built frontend templates and galleries to bring their styles to life.

A Weekly Digital Pop-up Shop

As part of their 2014 back-to-school marketing, Lands’ End wanted to create a digital version of the modern pop-up shop: a small, well-curated retail location open for a limited time. Under the direction of the team at M Booth, I built a landing page and seven blogger pages for the campaign, with a new blogger page revealed each week.

Accessible Anywhere

Parents are busy people – often multi-tasking and always on-the-go. We made the entire Back to School campaign fully responsive and customized the content and primary calls to action to make shopping effortless on any device.

I also built the image galleries to allow support mobile gestures – providing a more natural way to navigate the slideshows on touch devices.

NOTE: unfortunately, this pop-up shop was designed to disappear after the 7-week campaign, so it is no longer publicly available. I am happy to provide private demos of the frontend code, by request.
